Barbara Ann Jones 1942 - 2025

Barbara Ann Jones, 83, of McComb, passed away peacefully at her home on December 17, 2025.

Visitation was at Hartman Jones Funeral Home on Friday, December 19, from 4PM until 7PM and Saturday at Fellowship Baptist Church, from 10AM until services at 11AM. Burial followed in the Barron Bethany Cemetery in McComb. Bro. James Quin and Rev. Glen Crane did officiate. Pallbearers were David Wyatt, Alan Rimes, Jody Smith, Bobby Coon, Jesse Adams, and Clay Cutrer.

Mrs. Jones was born on January 6, 1942 in McComb, to the late Luther Brewer and Mable Brewer.

Mrs. Jones graduated from McComb High School in 1959. After graduation, she married the love of her life Glenn E. Jones on January 29, 1961. She was a secretary for John Gordan Roach. She enjoyed playing the piano, playing at Fellowship Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents; her husband of 63 years, Glenn E. Jones; 2 brothers Donald “Bo Dick” Brewer and Lee Roy “Buddy” Brewer; 3 sisters Vera Brister, Catherine Rushing, Eyvonne “Coote” Horn; and her sister-in-law Rita Jones.

She is survived by 2 daughters Glenda Dianne Rimes and her husband Alan; Kimberly Denise Coon and her husband Bobby; son Jeffrey Glenn Jones and his wife Audrey; brotherin-law Jerry Lee Jones; grandchildren Glen Rimes, Danielle Rimes, Stephanie Rimes Sterling, Dalton Jones, Brooke Jones Smith and Karlie Jones; great grandchildren Autumn Blake Smith, Ava Jane Smith, and Nova Ann Sterling; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
