Coleen Patricia Humphreys, 64, a resident of McComb, passed away on March 25, 2026 at Trend Health and Rehab of Brookhaven.
A visitation will be held Friday, April 3, at Hartman Jones Funeral Home from 9AM until services at 11AM. Hartman Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Coleen was born to Lucille and Arthur Fannon on November 17, 1961. She was the youngest of 5 girls—Linda, Donna, Debbie, and Carol, all her elder sisters.
Her relationship with her sisters shaped much of her life. She often shared stories of her childhood, her early jobs at Friendly's and Shoney's, and her time in cosmetology school during the height of the pageant world in the 1980s, notably preparing hair and makeup looks for Miss Mississippi candidates.
After marrying Keith, she spent the remainder of her life in McComb, Mississippi. She worked for many years at Dr. Barnes Eye Clinic before later staying at home.
She was a cherished member of the McComb Garden Club, where she was the charge for project Paint It Pink, raising awareness for breast cancer in the community through floral arrangements, landscaping decor, and breast cancer - creatively collaborating with a multitude of dear friends.
She was the mother of Taylor and Bradley Humphreys, and a consistent presence throughout their lives.
Coleen enjoyed time with her dogs, days spent by the pool, gardening, and traveling back to Massachusetts, where she remained connected to her roots. She will be remembered for her stories and the many ways she stayed connected to the people and places that were familiar to her.
She will be laid to rest in peace, and remembered in the ways that mattered most to those who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucille and Arthur Fannon; and her sisters Linda Lyons, Deborah Bachelor, and Donna Perry.
Survived to her is her husband Keith Humphreys, and her sister Carol Minott. She is also survived by her daughter and son, Taylor and Bradley Humphreys, as well as her grandchildren Lucille, Poppy, and Teddy Sergeant, whom she loved dearly.
