Corey Blaine McAllister 1987 - 2025

Corey Blaine McAllister, 38, a cherished son, father, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on September 27, 2025. A memorial service honoring Blaine’s life will be held on Saturday, October 11, at 1 PM at Siloam Baptist Church in Meadville.

Blaine was born on June 21, 1987 in McComb, to David McAllister and Celeste Converse. He was raised in a home filled with love and warmth, and some of his earliest and fondest memories were riding in the big truck with his daddy - moments he treasured deeply throughout his life. At the young age of 11, Blaine tragically lost his father, but he carried with him the love, laughter, and lessons from those formative years.

As a boy, Blaine enjoyed skating, paintball, and eventually discovered a passion for fast cars and camaraderie of close friends. His charisma and gift of conversation made him a natural born salesman. He began his career in phone sales but truly found his calling in automotive sales. For Blaine, selling cars wasn’t just a job - it was a way to connect. Every customer became a conversation, and many of those conversations became friendships that lasted a lifetime. His coworkers became family, and he continued building those bonds up until his final days.

But no title in Blaine’s life was more important than that of father. At age 26, Blaine welcomed his greatest joy into the world - his beloved son, Jace McAllister. Being Jace’s dad was the highlight of his life, and together they made memories playing PlayStation, listening to music, and singing side-by-side. Blaine loved Jace deeply and was immensely proud of the young man he is becoming.

Another cornerstone of Blaine’s life was the home and hearts of his Mawmaw Enola and Pawpaw Joe. Their kitchen table was a sacred place -- a gathering spot for food, faith, and laughter. Blaine especially cherished Mawmaw’s chicken and dumplings and Pawpaw’s brisket, and he held close the tradition of joining hands in prayer with them and his sister Kayla. After losing Pawpaw in 2019, Blaine stepped into the role of caregiver for his beloved Mawmaw, offering her love, comfort, and companionship until her final day. That same year, he also endured the heartbreaking loss of his mother, Celeste. Despite his own grief, Blaine’s strength and devotion during those times were a reflection of the deep love he carried for his family. Blaine’s love extended endlessly to his sister, Kayla McAllister Shoemake and his brother-in-law Benjamin Shoemake. He adored his nieces, Jordyn, Sophia, and Leia, and his nephew Luke. Whether it was watching cartoons, going on adventures, or just being talked into their wildest plans, “Uncle Blaine” was always game. His presence in their lives was a gift they will always carry.

Blaine was known for his infections energy -- he could light up any room with his smile and sense of humor. He loved quoting Step brothers, listening to Juice WRLD, cheering for the Saints every Sunday, and rocking his cowboy boots -- which he insisted were for “good ankle support.”

On peaceful days, you could find him doing his two favorite things: cutting grass or taking his Jeep and dog to Low Water Bridge Creek, soaking in the quite beauty of Mississippi Sundays.

Blaine was preceded in death by his father, David McAllister; mother Celeste Converse; grandmothers Enola McAllister and Alice Adair; grandfathers Joe Neal McAllister and Francis Converse; and his dear friend, BJ.
