Edna J. "Tooty" White

Edna J. "Tooty" White, 71, of McComb, passed away on October 7, 2026 at SWRMC surrounded by her loving family.

No services to be announced at this time. Hartman-Jones Funeral Home of McComb is in charge of arrangements.

Tooty was born on April 24, 1955, in McComb. She is the daughter of the late, John Carson Johnson and Grace Newman Johnson.

Tooty was a wonderful homemaker and was a member of Central Baptist Church of McComb. She was a loving and wonderful, wife, mother, grand and great-grandmother, sister and friend. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, and her fur-babies Benjamin, Elvis and Sugar Bear. She will be sadly missed by those who loved her most.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of 56 happy years, Johnny White Jr.; 1 son, John Michael White (Amanda); 1 daughter, Kaye Hewitt; 2 brothers, Bill Johnson (Patsy) and Mike Johnson (Vicky); 3 grandchildren, Shellie (Blake), Cameron and Caroline; 2 great-grandchildren, Cash and Ryan; with numerous nieces and nephews.
