Fisher 1936 - 2025

Emile Carl Fisher, 88 of Tylertown, passed away Monday, September 15, 2025 at the Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg. He was born Wednesday, November 11, 1936 in Texas to the late A.V. Fisher and Eleanora Marie Glaser Fisher.

Along with his parents he was also preceded in death by his son, Dan Fisher; daughter, Debbie Seward; and sisters, Marie Heike and Majorie Montavon.

Graveside services were held on Saturday, September 20, at 10AM at Tylertown Cemetery II. Masonic Lodge #417 of Lumberton, MS did officiate. Hartman Hughes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Fisher was welder by trade and a member of Masonic Lodge #417. He had a large family and loved spending time with them. Mr. Fisher enjoyed raising chickens and riding motorcycles.

Survivors include his loving wife, Ardith Lowe Fisher; daughters, Susan Fisher Gonzalez, Sandra Hunt (Terry), Kathy Lucas (Michael), Tina Fisher, Tammy Moffitt (Jackie), Terri Niessen (Jim), and Trudy Newberry (Christopher); son, Carl Fisher (Carol); step-son, Michael Furbush (Barbara); stepdaughter, Deborah Burns (Eugene); along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.

Pallbearers were Timmy Burns, Robert Burns, Eugene Burns, Bryson Burns, Trey Burns, and Matthew Burns. Robert Lee
