Emmitt E. Hamilton

Emmitt E. Hamilton 1933 - 2025 Emmitt E. Hamilton, 92, of McComb, passed away August 14, 2025 at McComb Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Visitation was held on August 19, at New Heights Baptist Church at 9AM until services at 1PM. A graveside service was held at Reeves Cemetery following the service. Rev. Rick Kennedy and Rev. Jim Futral did officiate. Hartman-Jones Funeral Home of McComb was in charge of arrangements.

Emmitt was born March 19, 1933, to the late, William and Jennie Hamilton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Mary Lee Hamilton; his brother William (“Dub”) Hamilton; his sisters Julia Lee Nickles and Mary Causey.

He is survived by his 2 daughters Rosa Marie Carroll (Henry), Barbara Manasco (Gene); 2 sons Wallace Hamilton (Julie) and Paul Hamilton; 6 grandchildren Drew Hamilton, Austin Hamilton (Kristen), Holly Waddell (Eric), Lee Carroll, Kate Carroll, and Kathy Carroll; 3 great-grandchildren Aubrey Waddell, Alexa Waddell and Scarlet Hamilton; 2 brothers James Hamilton (Brenda) and Bobby Hamilton; along with numerous relatives and friends.

Pallbearers were Lane Ball, Lee Carroll, Donald Hart, Jerry Nickles, Eric Waddell and Robert Whittington.
