On Monday August 10, 2026 with family at her side, the almighty God dispatched an angel to the bedside of Hazel Mae Robinson to gently close those tired eyes and whispered "Peace Be Thine".
Hazel Mae was born on December 11, 1939 in Liberty, as the blessed child of the late L.C. Robinson and Sarah Powell Robinson.
Hazel attended school at Liberty Rosenwald School located near Liberty Missionary Baptist Church. She was a loyal and dedicated employee at Jefferson Community Center for over 30 years until she retired. Hazel joined Liberty Missionary Baptist Church at a very young age. Years later, she moved to New Orleans, Louisiana were she joined the First Zion Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev Dr. Sam R Lennox where she continued to dedicate her life and service to Christ.
She moved back to Liberty, on May 17, 2017 where she reunited with the Liberty Missionary Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, neighbor and friend to all that knew her. Hazel departed this earth to enter into eternal life with God.
Hazel leaves to cherish her memories, to her loving and devoted children. 2 daughters: Carol Williams and Vernessa Robinson; 3 grandchildren: Tony Robinson, Netocha (Cardell) Jackson and Brandon Williams; 6 great-grandchildren: Araneshia Haynes, Tony (Iranicia) Robinson Jr., Ederick Williams, Tonea Robinson, Jaden Williams and Natalia Williams; 3 great-great grandchildren: Kinsley Lewis, Kingston Robinson and Kynedi Robinson; 5 special Godchildren: Anitria Jackson, Makenzie Carr, Terrica Jackson, Tristen Jackson and Lamar McGhee; and a host of other extended relatives, neighbors and friends.
