James Everett Morgan

James Everett Morgan, 55, a resident of Smithdale, passed away on April 16, 2026 at his residence surrounded by his loved ones.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 25, at 2PM at the following address of 114 Dixie Dr. Des Allemands, LA. Hartman-Jones Funeral Home of McComb is in charge of arrangements.

James was born on July 28, 1970 in Metatrie, LA. He is the son of James Dudley and Lowell Ellis Morgan and the step-son of Betty Morgan.

James was a long time Sales Rep. for Home Depot. He enjoyed camping, bird watching and NASCAR racing. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and friend. He will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his mother; his wife of 30 happy years, Sherie Allen Morgan; 1 son, Jerry Poche; 1 daughter, Jessica Mazuca; 1 sister Sarita Morgan; 2 grandchildren, Maya Sanchez and Analeigh Poche; with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his pet Bruno.
