Juanita Chisholm

Juanita Chisholm 1936 - 2026 Juanita Chisholm, 89, of McComb, passed away on July 15, 2026 at SWRMC in McComb. Visitation was held on July 18, from 11AM until services at 12-Noon at HartmanJones Funeral Home. Pastor Jeffery Conn did officiate and burial was in Montgomery Cemetery.

Juanita was born in Amite County, MS on July 27, 1936. She was the daughter of the late, Wiley and Ellen Jackson Freeman. Juanita was a homemaker and a member of The Church of Healing Hearts.

She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She enjoyed Bingo with the "Young at Heart Group" of her church. She opened her heart and home to many children and made a big impact on their lives.

She will be sadly missed by those who loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Chisholm Jr.; her daughter, Betty Sue Reid; her son, Billy Joe Chisholm; 3 brothers, Willard Taylor, James Freeman and Loyd Freeman; 4 sisters, Avis Etheridge, Elona Chisholm, Nannie Lee Coleman and Gracie Mae Morgan. She is survived by her daughter, Teresa D.

Davidson (Robert); 5 grandchildren, Mallory (Stephen) Boyd, Philip (Victoria) Monier, Joseph (Corban) Reid, Michael Reid and Ashley (John) Ghorley; 11 great-grandchildren with numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Joseph Reid, Michael Reid, Stephen Boyd, Robert Davidson, Lester Smith, Jr., and Wesley Boyd.
