Linda Lenoir Cancienne

Linda Lenoir Cancienne, 79, a resident of Magnolia, passed away on December 31, 2025 at her residence.

A visitation was held Saturday, January 3, 2026, at First Baptist Church of Magnolia from 11AM until services at 1PM. Bro. Kaleb Hurley did officiate and burial was at Magnolia Cemetery. Hartman Jones Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Linda was born on August 27, 1946 to the late John Carroll Kendrick and Susie Barbour Kendrick. She was a nurse and worked at the Magnolia Clinic for many years. She was well loved by family and friends. She had a big personality, enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband Mike, and will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband Daniel Lenoir; 4 sisters; and 4 brothers.

She is survived by her husband of 15 years Michael P. Cancienne Sr.; her daughters Barbara Lenoir McKenzie (Barry), Melissa Lenoir Burges (Paul), and Christy Lenoir Allen (Glen); her stepdaughter Heidi Malone (TJ); her stepson Gavin Cancienne; her brother Charles Kendrick (Margaret); 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers were Danielle Allen, Johnathan Graves, Christopher McKenzie, Barry McKenzie, Paul Burges, Glen Allen, and Jason McKenzie. Honorary Pallbearers were Daniel McKenzie, Logan Burges, Josh Allen, Zachary Graves, and Bruce Harper.
