lenges. Through it all, what’s always stood out to me is the strength of our people. We take care of each other, and that’s what inspires me to serve. I want to do my part to make Magnolia a place where families thrive, businesses succeed, and neighbors feel proud to call this city home. Being an Alderman has been an honor, and I’m running for Alderman-at-large because I want to keep working for the people who have given me so much and serve them in a greater capacity.

2) Magnolia needs more businesses, resources, and a cleaner, safer environment. I want to help bring in businesses that create jobs and provide services our community needs. We also need to clean up neglected areas and take pride in our city’s appearance. I know people want to feel safe and see more programs for our young people and seniors. My plan is simple: listen, work hard, and bring people together to find real solutions. Whether it’s improving infrastructure, supporting small businesses, or ensuring our community has the resources it needs, I’m committed to doing the work and being a voice for our city. 3) I’ve always believed that leadership starts with listening. I want people to know that if they have a concern, an idea, or even just want to talk about what’s happening in Magnolia, they can reach me. I’ll continue to be at community events, city meetings, and church functions, just like I always have been. I want people to know they can always reach out to me-whether it’s to ask questions, share concerns, or just talk about what’s happening in our city. I’ll always make time to listen and be there for the community.

4) I may not be the loudest person in the room, but I believe in getting things done. I’ve worked hard my whole life- teaching me the value of dedication and persistence. I’ve built a life here with my wife of 26 years, raised three wonderful children, and served my church as a deacon. I know the people of Magnolia because I am one of them. I understand our struggles, our hopes, and our potential. I don’t make promises I can’t keep, but I can promise this-I will always show up, always listen, and always do my best to make Magnolia a better place for everyone.

1) I have spent the majority of my life in the City of Magnolia, and it has always held a special place in my heart. However, I have never witnessed our community in the condition it is currently in. It deeply concerns me that, as citizens of Magnolia, we have allowed our city to deteriorate. It is because of this that I have decided to step forward and answer the call to lead. I am committed to working diligently to restore the Magnolia Community to its former glory, ensuring a better and brighter future for all of our citizens.

2) The City of Magnolia is currently facing several significant challenges in restoring its functionality and ensuring that its citizens are once again proud to call it home. To address these issues, I am committed to implementing essential steps and making the necessary changes to increase law enforcement funding and provide better pay to ensure a more effective and motivated police force, with every intention to lower crimes and improve public safety. A key priority is to establish a collaborative relationship with the County Supervisors and the School District, with a focus on enhancing the safety and attractiveness of our local schools, ensuring they provide a secure environment for both students and visitors alike. In addition, I believe that every citizen deserves a voice in their local government, and it is crucial that all residents feel they are being adequately represented by their elected officials. To make this possible, I plan to engage with business owners across the city to understand and address their concerns, building a strong rapport with the business community. More than anything, I strive to revitalize Magnolia by cleaning up the city and creating an environment that attracts more business owners, thus expanding our job market and strengthening our local economy. Together, we can work toward making Magnolia a safer, more prosperous, and vibrant place for all.

4) With 34 years of experience in management, I have sharpened my ability to collaborate with diverse teams to achieve common goals efficiently. Integrity, hard work, and dependability are the foundation of my leadership. I don’t just speak-I listen. I take the concerns of our community to heart, ensuring that every citizen of Magnolia feels heard, valued, and supported. My leadership philosophy centers on providing the necessary resources and tools to foster the success of our city.
