Morris Blanco 1976 - 2025 Morris Blanco, 48, passed away Monday July 7. He was born September 21, 1976.
A vibrant soul known for his dedication and warmth, Morris’s life was a testament to the joy and passion he brought into the lives of those around him.
During his formative years at Dexter High School, Morris thrived as an athlete, demonstrating his love for sports through his active participation in baseball and football.
His teammates knew him as a spirited competitor and supported friend. Always ready to offer encouragement or share a laugh. This period of his life not only showcased his physical abilities but also his ability to foster camaraderie and lifelong friendships.
Beyond the fields and arenas, Morris was recognized as a passionate hard worker and a loving friend. His infectious enthusiasm and genuine care for others left an indelible mark on his community.
He approached life’s challenges with the same vigor and determination that he displayed in sports, earning the respect and admiration of all who knew him.
Morris was preceded in death by his parents, Murdis and Elaine Blanco; sister Sherrie Brewer; and brother, Jasper Davis.
He is survived by his son Chipper Blanco; brothers Paul Blanco, David Brewer, Sandy Fortenberry, Randy Davis, James Davis; sisters Renae Lee, Ramona Holmes, Janet Davis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Morris Blanco will be held July 26, 2025, 11AM at Mission Ministries, 1488 Highway 48 East, Sandy Hook, MS 39478. All family and friends are invited to attend.
