OES 4th Graders Showcase Mississippi Scrapbook Projects

OES 4TH GRADERS SHOWCASE MISSISSIPPI SCRAPBOOK PROJECTS OES 4TH GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES SCRAPBOOKS--- The 4th grade students at Osyka Elementary School designed and created scrapbooks about the state of Mississippi for their Social Studies class. They used hand-drawn and printed pictures. Each scrapbook included the state name, a political map of the state, the state symbols, a brief history, 2 famous people from Mississippi, 3 landmarks, 5 natural resources, 10 interesting facts, a well known recipe, the state song and a landform map. The scrapbooks are currently on display at OES. This was assigned the first week of school, so the students could have 8 months to complete it. The class is taught by Diane McKenzie.
