Patsy Katherine Davis Cothern

Patsy Katherine Davis Cothern 1954 - 2026 Patsy Cothern, 71, a resident of Smithdale, passed away on July 16, 2026. A graveside service was held on Monday, July 20, at Mt. Gilead Primitive Baptist Church at 10AM.

Bro. Luke Addison did officiate and Hartman Jones Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. She was a homemaker that had a love for her family and pets.

She enjoyed reading in her spare time. She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer Davis and Ellisteen Cowart Davis; her 2 sisters Robbie Jackson and Rita Cothern; and 1 brother Melvin Davis. She is survived by 2 sons, James Cothern and wife Hope, and Corey Cothern; 2 grandsons Zach Cothern and Ian Cothern; 1 sister Jane Heath; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were James, Corey, Zach, and Ian.
