We give praise to our Lord and Savior! We were able to go to church this Sunday morning. It was so good to see our friends and we got hugs from all of them. What a Joy! I can’t describe the feeling of walking (with a lot of help from our precious children) into our beautiful church and worshiping God.

This month is Pastor appreciation month and we do appreciate all that Bro. Dan does for us. He was given a monetary gift last week.

Bro. Dan preached, from Acts 3, a beautiful message of Peter and John’s encounter with the lame man at the temple gate (called beautiful). It is a heartwarming event.

There is a Pumpkin Decorating Contest planned for October 24th at 6 pm. Bring your own pumpkin and supplies.

On October 30th there will be a fifth Sunday sing with lunch afterward. The Lord’s Supper will be celebrated also.

The date for our Thanksgiving Dinner at Progress BC has been set for November 20th. So that gives all of us plenty of time to prepare for it.

We want to thank everyone for the prayers, phone calls, and cards. But do keep the prayers going, as Gene is doing better after a stay in Beacham’s Hospital a couple of nights for hydration. He is moving around a little better although gets confused easily.

We thank Dr. Luke Lampton for coming to see Gene. He is a very dedicated man to his profession and really cares for his patients. We love you Dr. Luke.

Silver Springs BC will have Trunk or Treat on October 29th at 5 pm.

Silver Springs BC also has Bible Studies on Wednesday evenings starting at 6 pm.

Progress BC has Bible Study on Wednesday evenings at 6 pm with leader Joseph Fortenberry, after Prayer Meeting.

James and Lisa Hutchinson celebrate their anniversary on the 27th. Congratulations!
