Robert T. "Robbie" Boyd III

Robert T. "Robbie" Boyd III, 58, of McComb, passed away on August 23, 2026 at SWRMC in McComb.

Visitation was held on August 26, from 5PM until 8PM at Hartman-Jones Funeral Home of McComb with visitation again on August 27, from 10AM until services at 12-Noon. Dr. David Millican did officiate and burial was in Hollywood Cemetery.

Robbie was born in McComb, on June 28, 1968. He was the son of the late, Robert T. Boyd Jr. and Judith Lawson Boyd.

Robbie was an Electrical Contractor with Boyd Electrical and of the Baptist faith. He was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He enjoyed guns and his pets. He was a wonderful, loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend. He will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and 1 brother David Boyd.

He is survived by his loving wife of 17 happy years, Angela Johnson Boyd; 2 sons, James W. Johnson (Laurie) and Nathan Chapman (Amy); 1 daughter, Tiffany Weaver (Dewayne); 1 brother, Mervin Boyd (Elly); 6 grandchildren, Ethan, Callie, Jason, Destany, Autumn and Nadia; 2 nieces Jordan Dykes (Caleb) and Anna Boyd and great-niece Carsyn Dykes.

Pallbearers were James Johnson, B.J. Brumfield, Mark Varnado, Dewayne Weaver, Billy Hasting and Nathan Chapman. Honorary pallbearers were Ethan Johnson, Destany Weaver and Autumn Chapman.
