Ruby Lou Etheridge 1958 - 2025

Ruby Lou Etheridge, 66, of Summit, passed away peacefully on February 9, surrounded by her family.

Visitation was held on February 13, from 5PM until 8PM, will continue February 14, at 8AM until services at 11AM all at Pleasant Valley Church. Bro. Jack Whittington will officiate and Chris Carraway will be reading the eulogy. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Hartman Jones Funeral Home of McComb is in charge of arrangements.

Ruby was born on August 13, 1958 to the late Bob and Geraldine Chisholm.

She was a member of Pleasant Valley Church for many years.

She was a wonderful caregiver to many including her mom and dad, and late husband. Ruby was a peacemaker and loved her family unconditionally.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her late husband Charles E. Etheridge; her brother Bobby Rand Chisholm; and 1 niece Megan Shoemake.

She is survived by 2 sons Joshua “Luke” Williams (Crystal) and Bob “Wardale” Sandifer; 4 grandchildren, Calvin Williams, Trent Williams, (Lauren) Colton Williams, and Katie Dunn (John); and numerous step-children and step-grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren, Ridge Dunn, Avah Dunn and 1 very special greatgranddaughter Iyrah Kate Williams; 1 sister Libby Shoemake; 2 special aunts, Erma Chisholm, and Faye Wroten; along with lots of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Luke Williams, Calvin Williams, Trent Williams, Colton Williams, Zack Summerall, and Stephen Fenn. Honorary

Pallbearers will be Thomas Fenn, Paul Fenn, and Robert Shoemake.
