Samantha Q. Davis

Samantha Q. Davis, 44, of Summit, passed away on January 13, 2026 at SMRMC in McComb surrounded by her loving family.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 17, from 9AM until services at 12-Noon at Hartman-Jones Funeral Home of McComb. Rev. Hunter Wooldridge did officiate and burial was in Hollywood Cemetery.

Samantha was born on October 13, 1981 in McComb. She was the daughter of the late Samuel L. and Wanda Mote Quin. Samantha was a member of West McComb Baptist church. She was a wonderful and loving mother, sister, daughter and friend. She loved reading, hanging out with friends and family. She also enjoyed watching her sitcoms and shopping. She always put others before herself. She grew up on a dairy farm and had a deep love of animals from that experience. She will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her son, Dylan Davis; 1 daughter, Monica Davis; 2 sisters, Wendy Quin and Melissa Quin; 2 nephews, Ashton Smith and River Davis; 5 nieces Kyla Newman, Layla Newman, Aubree Smith, Abby Temple and Jaiden Davis; and her grandmother Pearl Mote.

Pallbearers were Calvin Mote, Jon Eric Mote, Ashton Smith, Tyler Durabb, and Jeffery Davis.
