Keith was born on May 9, 1956 to Clem and Marjorie Hux of McComb. He retired from the Enterprise Journal with almost 50 years of service and dedication. Whether you knew him as Uncle Keith, PawPaw Weefie or Huxster, he was always willing to lend a helping hand.

He was an avid hunter and loved camping with close friends. But, he was mostly known for doting on his grandkids.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Brenda Hux Hughes. He is survived by his wife Linda of 26 loving years; step-children Wendy Boyd of Magnolia, and Kevin Boyd (Connie) of Geismer, LA; his grandchildren Ethan Spence, Brooklyn Spence, and A.J. Boyd; special nephew "son" Jason Hughes (Ashley) of Vancleave, MS; 1 brother Ronnie Hux (Becky) of Newark, DE; and 1 sister Gayle Hux of McComb; great-nephew PFC Marine Jameson Brown; great-niece Kaitlyn Vaughn (Colton) and daughter Merritt.

Pallbearers were Kevin Boyd, Ethan Spence, Calvin Sterling, Rusty Moak, Thomas Spence, and Brian McCarthy. Honorary Pallbearers were Ricky Sterling, Barry Felder, Ronnie Love, Obie Simmons, and Glen Dillon.

Special thanks to Southwest ICU Staff and Bristole Hospice of Brookhaven.
