Southwest Primary Care Now Accepting New Patients and Walk-Ins

Southwest Health is pleased to announce the grand opening of its new 14,038 sq. ft. primary clinic located at 1506 Aston Ave., in McComb. The clinic, formally-known as Premier Medical Clinic, began seeing patients July 27, 2026.

The clinic boasts six physicians, two nurse practitioners, twenty-five exam rooms, a procedure room, an osteopathic manipulative treatment room, an in-house phlebotomy lab, an onsite x-ray machine, a medical library, and a lactation room. Southwest Primary Care is ready to address all your healthcare needs with the providers you've come to know and trust.

As the clinical home of SMRMC's Family Medicine Residency Program, the facility also includes a 950 sq. ft. didactics lab providing our sixteen family medicine residents and rotating medical students with the space needed to turn lectures from our attending physicians into hands-on training.

Services offered at Southwest Primary Care include acute and chronic care, wellness visits, physicals, DOT physicals, joint injections, pap smears, minor procedures, employee health visits, transitional care visits, COVID, flu, and strep testing, and EKGs, with additional services being added.
