Blessings were ours to receive last Sunday as we met to worship our Lord and Savior. The music was a blessing as we sang praises to our Lord and Savior. Bro. Kent Campbell brought a wonderful message Sunday morning. Bro. Kent and Gail Campbell traveled to Zachery to check on their grandson Sunday afternoon who is in the hospital there and did not make it back for the evening service. Alan McDaniel brought the devotional for our Sunday evening service.

As you enter the Sanctuary you will see a little house sitting on the organ with two monkeys waiting to welcome you and to tell you about Vacation Bible School "Rain Forest Falls" and invite the children to attend for a great week of Bible Study, to be held June 7 through June 12 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm and learn about God.

Vacation Bible School Kick-off and End of School Bash will be held Saturday at 10:00 am to Noon at the Church.

Golden Ager for the Week is Beverly Stewart so remember her with a card or visit this week.

Sunday, May 31, will be our 5th Sunday Singing followed by a covered dish luncheon. So make plans to attend and you will receive a blessing.

The Children and their Leaders will leave the Church at 4:15 pm Sunday, May 31 to attend the 3rd Annual Children's rally at Jayess Baptist Church to listen to Ventriloquist John Yates.

Thank you Dr. Stanely Hartness for the pretty card you sent. I have had trouble with my internet and could not send my column in but I do plan to continue writing. Wishing you and your Family a wonderful blessed week.

This week in Terry's Creek, it has been getting warm, and that makes the huckleberries and blueberries start ripening. I have one blueberry bush and several huckleberry bushes in my yard and the huckleberry bushes were loaded with berries but the birds really love the huckleberries as they ripen sooner than blueberries - so the birds get out early and eat the huckleberries before I can get to them to pick. But I guess they like the berries also. Maybe next year I can get to them before they do. Hopefully I can pick some blueberries before they eat them. The figs during the last freeze had a minor setback but the leaves have recovered and we hope to have a better crop.

If you have some news you would like to share with our readers, please let me know.

The children are happy that school is out for the summer, and I am sure the teachers are also happy. Good to have some time off.

May each of you have a Blessed Week.
