CATHERINE BROWN Terry’s Creek News Terry’s Creek is back. My computer had crashed and had to purchase a new one and my Granddaughter Prissy Craft ordered me one cause could not find a place in McComb where could purchase one like I wanted. It finally came in and I was so thankful.
Do not know what I would do without my Granddaughter. Am always having to ask her to do something for me and help me and I appreciate her so much how she is willing to help me.
On February 19th at the close our monthly Business meeting Rev. LaVerne Summerlin resigned as our Pastor in his 14th Year with us.
The Church extended a call to Rev. Kent Campbell and he accepted to become our Intermin Pastor.
Bro. LaVerne has accepted the call as Pastor of North McComb Baptist Church to begin on March 23., 2025. He had filled in for Interim Pastor Wayne Hall who had gotten sick. We wish Bro. LaVerne well at North McComb.
Last Sunday we had a guest Gideon speaker Mr. Alvin Kyle who shared the work of the Gideons.
A love offering was received to help in buying Bibles for the Gideons to pass out as they share in the work of the Gideons.
Keep our members who are having health problems in your prayers. Wilkie Cutrer had open heart surgery last week in Hattiesburg.
She came through the surgery very good and is in rehab as she is healing and recovering.
Douglas Easley had foot surgery last week and will to have further treament.
JoAnn Bankston has been sick but is doing better. Debra Lea is having Dyallias (probably spelled wrong) for her kidneys. My niece Dot Reeves of the Friendship community had to have shoulder surgery. Jet Easterling needs our prayers. May be some others that I have missed.

Glad to be back to share what news I have of our Church and people and our community. Think it time for you to write another story for our Gazette. Always enjoy what you write.
