Praise Team opened our worship service with beautiful song and music. Our guest pianist was Jeanette Hall in the absence of our pianist and organist. We appreciate you Jeanette for blessing us with the music you provided.

We had a time of Memorial Day Remembrance.

Danny Spencer shared a story with the children and they all really enjoy their special time in our worship service.

At the time of our special music Jeanette Hall shared in song “Paid In Full” and it was beautiful.

Bro. LaVerne Summerlin’s message was “Hope for the Future” from 2 Corinthians 5:17.

Sunday night Hollis Holmes shared in music as he played his guitar. Also Dennis Lea shared in music, singing “Crosses on the Hill” that he had written especially for Memorial Day. Both did a wonderful job.

Golden Ager for the Week is Beverly Stewart so remember her in prayer, or with a card or visit or phone call.

The Golden Agers traveled to Mike’s Fish House in Amite, La. last Friday after prayer led by Bro. LaVerne Summerlin. Those who went were Brent Robinson, Tom Stockwell, Brenda Martin, Jet Easterling, Joy Laird, Rachelle Freeman, Bro. LaVerne and Martha Burrow.

All enjoyed lunch together and then went shopping which is a favorite thing with this group and they enjoy it very much. Then the group stopped in Roseland, La. for ice cream. And made it back to Terry’s Creek safely and look forward to their next trip.

Parents and children and some of the children enjoyed traveling to LaPlace, La. to take a tour of the swamp last Saturday. Adults and children all had such a fun time. Hopefully the write-up and pictures will be in this week’s Gazette.

God Bless till next week.
