The Praise Team opened our morning worship service with wonderful praises to our Lord. After the welcome and announcements by Bro. LaVerne Summerlin continued our praises of music. The special music was sung by Tucker Sanders, singing “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” and it was beautiful. Bro. LaVerne’s message was “What Can You Do?” from Acts 1:8. Was a wonderful day of worship.

Our Golden Ager for the Week is JoAnn Cook so remember her with a call, card of visit this week. She is a resident of Camellia Estates in McComb.

Sunday, December 11 at 10:30 am will be our Christmas Program. Then at 11:30 am will be our “Thank-A-Christmas” Dinner. So make plans to attend. There will not be an evening service.

We will have a Christmas float for the Osyka Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 10 in Osyka. If you want to take part in this see Holly Roberts.

The Golden Agers met last Friday morning for their Christmas meeting. After the devotion and discussion of business and the exchanging of gifts, everyone enjoyed a delicious meal.

Pray for John Milton Bond who has had health problems this week.

Also, pray for Bonnie McDaniel who had some problems and had to spend a couple of days in the hospital.

Keep JoAnn Cook and her family in your prayers. Her daughter Cathy Cook passed away and her visitation will be held Saturday, December 10 at 12:00 Noon, with memorial service at 2:00 pm at the Church.

Happy Birthday to Elaine Hutchins Dec. 8.
