Veterans to Gather in Tylertown for Special Celebration August 13th

VETERANS, a special celebration and recognition service is planned for ALL VETERANS, past, present, and future in Walthall, Pike, Lawrence, and Marion Counties, and Washington Parish on Thursday night, August 13th at the Tylertown Events Center located at 29 Hwy 48E, Tylertown. It will be hosted by Posts 56 and 120 of Walthall Co.

Major General Bobby Ginn will be the Keynote Speaker. The Mississippi National Guard will present the Colors and provide music. The Scouts will present each Veteran with a special recognition gift and General Ginn will be presenting each Veteran with a patriotic gift.

Lt. Col Chuck Wallace will open the meeting by playing Revelry on his Trumpet and he will be bringing his award winning, flag printed automobile to the meeting.

Everyone is invited to attend the celebration of our veterans. This will be a night of recognition, music, and food fellowship. Meeting starts at 5:30 pm sharp. The August 13th Salute to Veterans includes Walthall, Pike, Lawrence, Marion Counties, and Washington Parish. The community is invited to come and honor our Veterans.
