William Alva Mixon 1933 - 2025

Mr. William Alva Mixon, 92, of McComb, passed away on Thursday, October 9, at McComb Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born in Magnolia, on August 23, 1933, to John William “J.W” and Ora Nell Mixon.

Mr. Mixon was preceded in death by his parents; and by 1 sister, Johnnie Nell Hughey.

Survivors include his son, William Spencer Mixon and his wife, Tina L. Mixon.

Graveside services were held at Hollywood Cemetery on October 16, at 2PM in the afternoon. Catching-Sharkey Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
