Willie Carroll

Willie Carroll, 66, of McComb, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2025 at the Liberty Community Living Center in Liberty. He was born Sunday, October 11, 1959 in Independence, LA.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 29, 2025 from 10AM until time of service at 11AM at Siloam Baptist Church in Meadville. Burial followed in Siloam Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Leon Wallace and Bro. Emory May did officiate. Sharkey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Willie was a loving husband, father, and friend. He loved racing and fishing. He also found joy in wood working. Willie was a great mechanic, and an all-around good guy.

He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Davis Carroll, Sr.; mother, Catherine Hall Carroll; brother, Columbus 'Buster' Goza; sister, Linda Goza Knippers.

Survivors include his son, Michael Dean Carroll (Katherine); daughter, Rose Carroll Mitchell; brother, Henry Lee Carroll (Marie); grandson, Ayden Mitchell; granddaughter, Raven Mitchell (Marshal Odom); great-grandson, Ozzy Ivan Odom; fiancé, Jackie Beasley Davidson.

Pallbearers were Lee Carroll, B J Thompson, Billy Beasley, Chris Jordan, Johnny Knight, and Ernie Westmoreland. Honorary pallbearer was James Lee Cruse.
